On March 26, 2009, a new group of board members were elected for the Supervisors’ Club. We hope for another successful year under the new board and thank the previous directors for their contributions to The Club. Now we would like everyone to  get a chance to find out a little more about the newly appointed board members as well as those returning for an additional year.

Kyle Hummel- President
 Kyle is a graduate of Penn State, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999. He has been with Deere for 9 years, and he is currently employed as a project manager for the 9000 PLMT. When he is not working for Deere or at The Club, Kyle enjoys all things sports: basketball, golf, and volleyball, college athletics, hunting/fishing, and agriculture.

Paul Holst- Vice President
Paul has been on the board for The Supervisors Club for the past 3 years as Indoor Maintenance and is looking forward to another year as Vice President. When not working at The Club, Paul enjoys a variety of different activities.

Ryan Krogh- Past President
Ryan graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Since then, he has been working for Deere for 6 years. Today Ryan is a Core Tech Chassis Design Engineer. Much like his successor, Kyle, Ryan also has a love for sports. He likes golf, soccer, hunting, skiing, Junior Achievement,  tennis, softball, volleyball, pool league.

Brian Burkenholz-Board Member (inside maintenance)
Brian is a new face among the board. He graduated from Minnesota State University with a BS in Automotive Engineering Technology and is currently pursuing his MSME at ISU. Brian has been with Deere for 2 years and currently is working as a diagnostic developer. Brian’s hobbies are woodworking, golf, fishing and flying as a certified private pilot.

Bill Mitchell- Lifetime Member
Bill is one of our lifetime members at The Club. After receiving a BS in Agricultural Engineering, he dedicated 36 years of service to Deere. Bill’s interests include being with family and friends, church, travel, golf and classic cars.

Jim Miller- Lifetime Member
A retired, lifetime member from the PEC, Jim spent 36 years with Deere after receiving a BSME degree from South Dakota State. In his spare time, he joys  spending time with his grandchildren, golfing and fishing.

Katie Sheets-Treasurer
Katie comes to Deere with a BS from Purdue University, and she has since served the company for 5 years. Her current position is Senior Marketing Representative for 6000’s and SF 7000’s. Aside from her work at Deere,  Katie likes racquetball, volleyball, skiing, being in the sun, and being with her family.

Cory Schemhl- Secretary
Cory is employed as a Manufacturing Engineer and has been with Deere for 3 years. He comes to us with degrees in both Industrial and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in Duluth. When he is not at work, Cory enjoys softball, golf, and soccer.
