The Supervisors' Club was organized through the efforts of a group of supervisors who wanted a place to meet outside the work environment. They donated money and time to construct a building in which to hold business meetings and enjoy social functions. The building served the needs of a growing John Deere Waterloo Operations area until a new facility was constructed in 1970 The existing facility, located on DeWitt Road, was constructed through and continues to rely on volunteerism. With the exception of a small paid staff, volunteers fill all other work requirements. Should you decide to join the Supervisors' Club, various opportunities will be made available to you. These include serving as a house manager, bartender or on the indoor/outdoor maintenance crew. The Supervisors' Club is available for members' use at a discounted rate for receptions, anniversaries, etc. with bar, dining and dancing facilities. The Club also schedules several special events during the year such as dances family breakfasts, pool league, and parties. Throughout the year, unless a special Club function is scheduled, the Club is open on Fridays for members and their guests. On Fridays members can enjoy low priced drinks and food. Throughout the year there are special dining events as announced in the monthly calendar of events. |
